Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Location: Remote

Our Solid Potential team is looking for an excellent candidate to fill in a Senior Cloud Data Engineer position. Solid Potential is a consulting company, providing advice and creating cutting edge solutions for handling and extracting meaning out of enterprise scale data in cloud environments.

We're currently on a hunt for an exceptional Senior Cloud Data Engineer in BigData department for our customer in telecom industry.

As Part of our team, you will provide consultation and services for our clients, you will constantly improve and lead by example to shape clients business.

You will build scalable data pipelines and ETL transformations in order to integrate data from a variety of sources into customers Data Warehouse, as well as design data model changes according to the evolution of our business;

You will design and model data structures to help analyze our business and relevant metrics;

You will work together with people from other key areas (Analysts, Data Scientists, Product Managers) to assist them in building and optimizing customers products.

Main responsibilities

✔ To be a part of customers team, responsible for improving efficiency of existing solutions and offering new designs and expertise;

✔ Ability to learn fast and experience with Linux and Google Cloud;

✔ Active participation in full development lifecycle on an Agile team (code reviews, architecture reviews, security approvals, release processes).

Key requirements:

✔ Tax residence: Poland;

✔ Good amount of experience with hands on programming in at least one of the programming languages (i.e. Python, Java, Perl, .Net);

✔ Comprehensive knowledge of at least one cloud provider (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure);

✔ Experience with Apache Spark, SQL, Data Modeling;

✔ English proficiency (at least B2 level);

✔ Willingness to work in consulting environment.
