Principal Cloud Platform Engineer

Our Solid Potential team is looking for an excellent candidate to fill in a principal position: Cloud Platform Engineer. Solid Potential is a consulting company, providing advice and creating cutting edge solutions for building and maintaining enterprise scale cloud environments.

We're currently on a hunt for an exceptional Principal Cloud Platform Engineer for our customer in telecom industry.

As part of the offered position, you will work with teams of developers, testers and devops as well as users and administrators. You will be responsible for building an effective system testing and deployment process, selecting optimal solutions, technologies enabling automation, and implementing services ensuring high availability and security.

Main responsibilities

✔ To be a part of customers team, responsible for improving efficiency of existing solutions and offering new designs and expertise;

✔ Ability to learn fast;

✔ Working with newest technologies in Cloud;

✔ Active participation in full development lifecycle on an Agile team (code reviews, architecture reviews, security approvals, release processes)

Key requirements

✔ Tax residence: Poland;

✔ Good amount of experience with hands on programming in at least one of the programming languages (i.e. Python, Java, Perl);

✔ Comprehensive knowledge of at least one cloud provider ( Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)

✔ Expertise creating infrastructure as a code (eg Terraform, Pulumi);

✔ Expertise with containerization and orchestration (eg Kubernetes, Docker Swarm);

✔ Expertise working with CI/CD processes;

✔ Knowledge of English (at lest B2 level);

✔ Willingness to work in a dynamic consulting environment.
