GCP Architect

Location: Remote

Our Solid Potential team is looking for an excellent candidate to fill in a position of GCP Architect. Solid Potential is a consulting company, providing advice and creating cutting edge solutions for building and maintaining enterprise scale cloud environments.

As part of the offered position, you will work with teams of developers, testers and devops. You will be responsible for designing architecture of effective systems and processes. You will selecting optimal solutions, technologies enabling automation, care about high availability and security of systems.

Main responsibilities:

✔ To be a part of customers team, responsible for improving efficiency of existing solutions and offering new designs and expertise;

✔ Ability to learn fast;

✔ Working with newest technologies in Cloud;

✔ Active participation in full development lifecycle on an Agile team (code reviews, architecture reviews, security approvals, release processes)

Key requirements:

✔ Tax residence: Poland;

✔ Experience as Principal Platform Engineer or Cloud Architect;

✔ Good amount of experience with hands on programming in at least one of the programming languages (i.e. Python, Java, Perl);

✔ Comprehensive knowledge of at least one cloud provider (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure);

✔ Expertise creating infrastructure as a code (eg Terraform, Pulumi);

✔ Expertise with containerization and orchestration (eg Kubernetes, Docker Swarm);

✔ Expertise working with CI/CD processes;

✔ Knowledge of English (at lest B2 level);

✔ Willingness to work in a dynamic consulting environment.
