Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Remote

Our Solid Potential team is looking for a candidate to fill in a Cloud Platfrom Engineer position. Solid Potential is a consulting company, providing advice and creating cutting edge solutions for handling and extracting meaning out of enterprise scale data in cloud environments.

We're currently on a hunt for a Cloud Platfrom Engineer to work in a BigData department for our customer in telecom industry.

As part of our team you will provide consultation and development services for our clients. You will have opportunity to use and learn new tools and to make a real impact on businesses. It will be also a chance to learn and grow together.

Main responsibilities

✔ To be a part of customers team, responsible for improving efficiency of existing solutions and offering new designs and expertise;

✔ Ability to learn fast and experience with Linux and Google Cloud;

✔ Active participation in full development lifecycle on an Agile team (code reviews, architecture reviews, security approvals, release processes).

Key requirements

✔ Tax residence: Poland;

✔ Good amount of experience with hands on programming in at least one of the programming languages (i.e. Python, Java, Perl);

✔ Good knowledge of at least one cloud provider (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure);

✔ Worked with (eg Terraform, Pulumi);

✔ Experience with containerization and orchestration (eg Kubernetes, Docker Swarm);

✔ Experience in working with CI/CD processes;

✔ Knowledge of English at least at B2 level;

✔ Willingness to work in a dynamic consulting environment.
